REQUIREMENTS TO THE CONTENT AND FORMAT OF SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES

A manuscript should be made in MSWord with A4 page size, Times New Roman 14 font, 1.5 interline interval and aligned by edges and sent to the executive editor – rayskaya.ev@yandex.ru or Editor-in-Chief – info@eoizdat.ru. Pictures (illustrations) and charts should be enclosed as individual files in the original format.
A manuscript should be review by a Doctor of Science in the relevant field and signed by him (her) with the indication of the date.
All manuscripts are subject to review. Review results and decisions of the editorial board are disclosed to the authors.
The name of the author should be followed by his (her) Academic Rank, position and company name (in Russian and in English), e-mail and phone number (s).
The publishing house accepts only original (not published) works suiting the topics of a journal and scientific criteria. The submitted manuscripts should be topical, meaningful from scientific and practical viewpoints and well composed (topic, challenges, solutions, conclusions and proposals).
All manuscripts pass the plagiarism check (matching content from open sources) with the AntiPlagiat.ru software. Manuscripts with 10-15% of the matching content will not be published.
Manuscripts must include:
• Abstracts (100-250 words), list of key words (min. 10), UDC and itemized list of references;
• E-mail addresses of the authors;
• Continuous numbering of pages, tables, figures, charts, bottom notes and formulae;
• Numbered tables, charts and figures should be referenced to in the text, e.g. (Fig. 1, Table 2).
The last page of every manuscript should contain the following information in ENGLISH: title, authors’ names, academic rank(s) and positions, abstract, key words and list of references.
NB!
A good abstract and a good translation thereof together with the good translation and description of referenced materials is a prerequisite of an interest to your publication from Russian and foreign scientists and experts. It may cause the citation of your work in domestic and foreign publications; upgrade the scientific image of the author and, consequently – your company, region and the country.

Requirements to abstract
Here are mandatory requirement to abstracts. An abstract in English can be larger than the same abstract in Russian, because the abstract in Russian is followed by a full text. An abstract must be:
• informative (without common words);
• original (no a calque of a Russian abstract);
• substantial (to describe the main content of the manuscript; methods and methodology of studies, research results, domain of their application and conclusions). The study topic and objectives are to be described unless clear from the title. Conclusions can be made together with recommendations and hypothesis described in the manuscript;
• well structured (following the descriptive logic of the manuscript);
• in good English (written in a good English language);
• the abstract volume should be 100-250 words (by GOST – 850 characters with spaces, 10 lines as a minimum).
A standard way to write an abstract (both in Russian and in English) is to reproduce the structure of the manuscript in brief (introduction, goals and objectives, methods, results, conclusions).
Author’s CV is a source of information independent from a manuscript.

Requirements to the list of references:
1. References to articles and monographs are made in square brackets enclosing the number of the reference in the list of reference and the page number containing the citation. E.g. [4. P. 151].
2. References to an official document, legal act and e-resources should be made as bottom notes and not included into the list of references.
3. A reference to an official document or legal act should include its number, date and full name of the source.
4. References to e-source should be made as described in Section 10 GOST R 7.0.5-2008, with a mandatory indication of URL to identify the web-address and the date of request.
5. The list of reference is made as described by GOST R 7.0.5-2008. This list should indicate only the total number of pages in the referenced publication (e.g. a book 350 p.; an article in a journal or collection – pp.12-17).
6. A range of pages must be indicated when referencing to articles in journals or collections, while a total number of pages should be indicated for books. Articles from e-journals are referenced to as described for hard copy issues with a mandatory indication of a web-address.
7. The author is fully responsible for the correctness of citations, names, proper names, and digital information and for the fidelity of facts and events described in the manuscript.

Requirements to the translation into English and the transliteration of the references list
A list of publications used for the preparation of the manuscript (References) is made in view of international requirements to citation database. The US Congress Library system is used for the transliteration: http://translit.net.
Name of the source (journal, newspaper) is separated from the names of the author(s), title and issue information (year, volume, number, range of pages) by the font type (usually Italics) and a comma).

Requirements to formulae

• A formula must be made in MSWord formulae editor;
• A formula is followed by a comma; the next line starts with a word «where» giving the description of symbols used in the formula following the order of appearance in the formula with due measurement units. Each symbol should take a line
• Greek letters are printed in a regular font, Latin letters should be printed in Italics;
• A formula can be carried-over to the next line at the signs of equality or correlation between the left and the right parts of the formula, addition and deduction signs, or the multiplication sign presented as (x) at the end of one line and beginning of the next line;
• A multiplication sign is not put between letters (А = bc), but is put as a central dot between digits (5 · 30);
• Units of measurement for physical values are denominated in SI system and are to be separated by a single space (12.87 mm, 58 J/mole), except for degrees and percentages (90º, 20ºC, 50%);
• A dot should be used as a decimal sing (e.g.: 14.67).
